This Ofqual accredited course is run over 2 days and allows for re-certification of First Aid at Work qualified staff.
The syllabus is the same as for the initial 3 day course. This means that the syllabus is covered at a significantly faster pace in the understanding that candidates are familiar with the topics.
This course can be adapted to suit a particular audience, for example, engineering or railway staff. By arrangement the course can be run on non-consecutive days, for example – one day a week over two weeks also evenings or weekends.

Attendees
For those who are 18 or over who needs to renew their 3 day First Aid at Work Certificate. Please note that candidates attending this course must be in possession of a valid (not out of date by more than 28 days) First Aid at Work certificate.

Assessment
- Candidates are examined at the end of the course. Upon successful completion certification is valid for 3 years.
- Under the current HSE guidelines it is strongly recommended that first aid trained staff attend a half-day update every 12 months, before completing full re-qualification training at the 3 year point.
