Streamlined perfectly to avoid the duplication of topics associated with attending both the Ofqual accredited First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid courses separately, the Combined First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid course has been specifically designed for those who work in schools, sports clubs or other childcare settings.

This course is run over 3 extended days and includes both theory and practical sessions. By arrangement the course can be run on non-consecutive days, for example, 1 day a week over three weeks also evenings and weekends.

Attendees

For those who are 18 or over and need to be First Aiders in the Workplace. Once qualified, holders of this First Aid at Work certificate can be used as First Aiders in the workplace in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

Successful candidates will receive two regulated certificates.

Assessment

  • Candidates are assessed at the end of the course. Upon successful completion certification is valid for 3 years.
  • Under the current HSE guidelines it is strongly recommended that first aid trained staff attend a half-day update every 12 months – before completing full re-qualification training at the 3 year point.
